On Lake Garda a whole weekend will be dedicated to wines from Abruzzo. Cantina Tollo wines land on the shores of Lake Garda. On June 5 and 6 a day of solidarity will be held in Desenzano "Garda and Abruzzo," organized by the NPO "The Amaranth," in which typical food and drinks from Garda meet the excellence of Abruzzo, first of all the Cuore line wines by Cantina Tollo, products that celebrate love and solidarity of this land.

All food and wines will be sold at the stands and the sale proceeds will be devoted to social projects in favour of the Region of Abruzzo. The event was sponsored by the Provincia dell’Aquila, the Comune dell’Aquila, the Provincia di Brescia, the Comune di Desenzano del Garda and by the Italian Croce Rossa. The “Presidente della Provincia dell’Aquila” Antonio Del Corvo and the singer Roberto Vecchioni will attend the event.

The funds raised during the event will be donated to the Instituto Cinematofrafico dell’Aquila “ La Lanterna Magica”, that houses one of the richest film collection library in Italy. And at "Garda and Abruzzo" event, the Instituto Cinematofrafico dell’Aquila will present a project for recovering ten of the most important works of the great director Federico Fellini. Lake Garda is also the set of "Italia in Rosa” an event dedicated to rosé wines to be held on June 5 and 6 in Moniga del Garda, on the Brescia shores of the lake. Here Cantina Tollo will present its Hedos Cerasuolo DOC wines obtained from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, judged by the French as the best rosé.
